Hi,

I've recently started having problems with resuming from hibernate/suspend on my Thinkpad T40, the behaviour is inconsistent - it sometimes works, it sometimes doesn't.

After reading the previous posts, I think it could be due to my USB roothub but I decided to install Bootvis to run a trace just to verify.

The problem is, I set Bootvis to run at the next suspend and because I have a resume from suspend problem, it obviously doesn't come up again. The question is, will Bootvis store the statistics into the file, irregardless of whether the resume works ?

Btw, can I specify where I want the file to be stored ?

I'm tearing my hair out becos of this problem....[sadeyes]

Thanks for any help !

A1. Bootvis only collects statistics on bootup/resume, so if it never resumed there is nothing to store.

A2. Bootvis stores the .bin data files in the folder it starts from. I do not know of a way to change this.

I updated my USB driver and everything seems to be alright so far. 8)

I will probably upgrade my USB root hub from a USB1.0 to a USB2.0, just in case. 8)

Thanks !
