I have just "inherited" my son's old computer which was running the infamous Windows ME, which kept on crashing etc..
I formatted the HD and loaded Windows 98 - I had the disk from my first computer. Anyway it's 99.9% fine, but will keep going into hibernation mode when it powers-off, which means a reboot. I know there's a cure for this but for the life of me can't think what it is? Microsoft's Database for Win98 seems to be, to say the least, a bit scant now, and has been no help at all.
Any ideas anyone? Thanks.

Thanks for your help
