Hi,

I have recently installed on my computer win 2000 pro SP2. I also install Easy CD Creator platinum with DIRECTCD.
I have formatted a CD-R disc with directcd and it works fine in the explorer (copy files to the cd-r and it works).
Now if try to use microsoft backup to backup some files I get the error "E: is not a valid drive, or you dont have access". I am logged in as Administrator.

Any ideas?

If your are trying to use the burner as backup media you will need to create a file first. Save it in My documents or someplace as Backup1.bkf or whatever, then choose that file to burn as windows does not recognize a burner as "acceptable" backup media... Matt Wray
