Please I'm going crazy, I got a CS1000E with a CP-MGS and other CPDC. I honestly do not know where to begin, to connect port, etc.. He did not come with manuals in pdf.

Can anyone help me? with a link or procedure manuals on how to start

thank

Hola Ghtrout

The problem is that avaya support, there is no manual to speak of a CP-MGS. Well we will soon who is much worse, if Avaya or Nortel hahahah

Do you have a MG1010 cabinet? I think, its been a while since I have seen a E, there are RJ45 ports on the CP card for TTY ports and you plud in a data cable and use a RJ45 to DB25 adaptor. I can look at an E on monday at work and see what is what.

Thanks,

Buddy

The CPDC card would have a couple 25 pin serial cables that come off the back of the media gateway/cabinet. The CMPGS card has RJ45 connectors for the TTY ports, one to talk to the call server and one to talk to the MGC portion of the card. I don't recall the pinout of those. I'm guessing the installer didn't leave the cables that came with the cards behind?

Wow. A 1000E with Pentium 4's. I haven't seen one of those in a while. You probably still have the MRV terminal server. I didn't shed tears when I didn't have to deal with those anymore.
