Hi Gang

I have found a Javascript that allows me to force a page to print out. The only problem is it comes up with a print dialogue even though it is not supposed to. Any Javascript experts out there that can help me with this one. I would fiddle with it myself but I don't have a printer connected to my system. More about this below.

Here is the page address

When my page does print out it has page 1 of 1 and the url on it. Is there a way to disable this?

Now for my printer problem. This is a hardware issue but maybe someone has run into this. When I connect my printer to my system the printer is not detected and my CD-ROM drive loses power. Any ideas what might be causing this? I am thinking there is a short of some sort in my system. The hard drive that shares the power lead with the CD rom drive still has power as well.

TIA

Ken

Sorry but use of the print() method will always pop the print dialog, as this method is just a scripted way of invoking the print button on the browsers toolbar.
