Hi everybody,

I would like to make a audit trail for logging inserts, deletions, and edits (through a form), since Access cannot log changes to your data at the record level. The end result must be a copy of the record in the audit log, stamped with username, date and time, and type of operation (deletion, insertion, or edit). Maybe someone has a working version or code. An example would be great.

Regards,

Paul

Hi Raskew,

Thanks for your reply. I am familiar with the link you posted. I tried to use it for my own access database but for some reason I could not get it to work. My form meets the posted conditions though. I was hoping someone could send me a working example of the audit trail as described on aforementioned site.
