Hi all...I working on a daily reports form which I use everyday at work. I'm using "DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNewRec" in the on open event which gives me a blank new form. however I have to open this report several times a day. my problem is this.

I'd like my form to open with a new blank form (as it does now) ONLY if the date field doesn't equal the current date. if it does equal the current date, this is the form I'd like to see.

Build a query that has all the same fields as your form. In the critera for the field that has your date data, put Date()
Now set your form's record source property (under the data tab) to the query you just made.
