ok, one of our sales guys who just cant say no wants me to figure out how to accomplish the following:

Intuity Map100
Version - 5.1.34

we have this Intuity linked to an Intuity LX at an off site location. everything works great. DID's come into the map100 site & we UDP them over a tie to the LX site. a user that sits at the LX wants us to be able to restrict anyone from being able to foward him a message or play a message that restricts users that try to foward him a message when they forget to put the switch number in front of the mailbox number. basically we have internal users at the map100 site use the switch number in front of the subscriber, this tells the map100 to send the message to the LX. this restriction is to let users know that they forgot the code. but at the same time allow users the ability to find him using the auto attendent. its hard to put into words, please let me know what more info you need &/or screen shots. or just a better technical way of telling the sales guy "NO

Don't tell him no. Tell him yes. Tell him it will cost $15,000 for an addon product from Avaya. Tell him that you will propose it up your chain and use him as the justification. If everyone buys in you will then have to figure out how to do it but you will have $15,000. People who don't respect your time usually respect money.

What is the addon product & what does it do.

i could, but in the end doesnt it have to work?
