Hi guys I am new here and install quite a few Retail POS systems, mostly liquor stores and boutiques, but sometimes venture into other areas. Thought I would share a brain scratcher with you all. Here was the scenario:
8 Lane Liquor store
All 8 computers were Identicle (including backoofice machine)
Running Provaya Checkout Professional
Symptom: Strange graphical errors on only one machine.
This was really frustrating me and I am sure others have seen this symptom. What you have to do to correct the problem is in display settings-Preferences change the font size to normal instead of large. I geuss its a bug that only affects 1 out of 100 brands of graphics cards running checkout professional. Hope I helped some poor techie out there pulling out his/her hair. I haven't reported it to Provaya yet, but if I know them they will have it resolved in a jiffy.
