Help with XP Pro SP2 and Netgear MA111 v2 USB Wireless?

I've just recently purchased the above referenced adapter to make my desktop a wireless client. Problem is that I can "see" my WPA network on the available list and when I try to connect it eventually connects then exactly four seconds later is disconnects and goes through the connection process again and again and again ....

Anyone ever experience this and if so what might you have done to remedy this situation?
