HELP WITH VISTA ADVANCED POWER OPTIONS 1

I am looking for an explanation of all the options in Vista Advanced Power Options. These are some of the options below, and each option has several choices. Where can I find out what these choices do and the optimum setting for each one:
Require Password in Wake Up
Hard Disk
Wireless Adapter Setting
Sleep
USB Settings
Power Buttons
PCI Express
Search and Indexing
Display
Multimedia Settings

I have been unable to find an explanation of these items or the choices under each item. Thanks for any help you might provide.

I did see the last two links (so I get a 'yeah') but the first link you provided has the exact information I was looking for. It shows all the power options and actually explains what each selection is. I could not find that information any place. A BIG star for you (and many thanks).
