Help with Totals in a Query

Hello,

Okay, how do you display field 1, group by field 2 and sum field 3 in a query?

I can't seem to display field 1. It gives me "You have tried to execute a query that does not include the specified expression "field1" as part of an aggregate function."

Help! I have tried numerous things, and it's just not working!

How would you do this in the design grid?

Create and save a query taht does the summary. Then creatre another query with the table and the saved query joined on field2. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
