Help with T1 to Dialogic

Having issues with outgoing calls. We have connected a JCT 240 to a t1 card internally. The t1 card sits in our Meridian 1 Option 11.

I have establish our DCH and the trunk is up. When I attempt to call out from our dialogic server using isdiag, I get Cause 21 error call rejected from the switch.

Any assistance would be appreciated!

what digits are you dialing from the sever, and can you dial that digit string from any station?

Doesn't seem to matter what I dial. Whether I dial a 4 digit extension or a ten digit number.

Oddly enough the trunks and dch are set to ISIG, and I have the dialogic set to NI2, and I'm not having issues maintaining my Dchannel.

I changed DSEL to vce, and have the same cause code #21. Should I change RDB IFC to NI2 and Trunks to NI2 to match the Dialogic??

What interface options do you have in the JCT 240?? See if you have a SL-100 or S100. This would be the interface to a Nortel SL 100 Switch. If you have that option set it up that away and make the 240 be the user side. I would program the DSEL to 3VCE. This way you don't deal with b-cap issues. (You may try changing that first with your current setup). Then setup the Nortel M1 with the interface type of SL1 and be the Network side. I have used this type of work around on several applications such as PRI lines to Cisco equipement. Let me know if you need more information, I would be happy to try to help!

DSEL VOD 3vce or vce, either way vod might insert an additional 01 in the data string, trying to mark a frame de.. i've had the problem before between 81's, they worked point to point but wouldn't route some inbound calls from some offices betweent he two sites

I didn't have any success with the VCE setting so I rebuilt the trunks reconfigured the Dch and changed the RDB to use ess5 as protocol as both Meridian and Dialogic support it (Dialogic doesn't support sl-100. I also tried going with TIE as opposed to COT. Now I am unable bring up the DCH successfully. It operational but in RLS.
