I have a problem for sure. I have a trojan on my machine. It is trojan.vundo and I can't get rid of it. When I do a virus scan with Norton, it finds it. But can't remove it. There is a special link to Symantec that I found that has a file to get rid of it. But when I run it, it tells me that it can't find trojan.vundo.
Now I have XP Home. This thing did not come with the disk for it. I have read where the special file from Norton to get rid of this guy needs to be run in Safe Mode.
Now my problem gets worse. When I go into Safe Mode, I only have a black screen with the words "Safe Mode" in all 4 corners. And some other writing at the top.
Any and all suggestions are welcomed. Thanks very much.
