Well, you're going to connect it to ports on the 3rd 206, but don't use ext. 22 because it is a power failure station. I would use the last ports, Ext. 27 and up. Do you have a 2 port or 4 port? For a 2 port use 26 & 27, for a 4 port use 24 through 27.
Assign the ports to hunt group 7. #505-7-XX-1, where XX is the extension number.
Set their Transfer Return to Ext. 10 for unanswered transfers that don't have voice mail coverage. #206-XX-10
For every extension that has a mailbox, assign Auto VMS Cover. #310-XX-1
For lines that need to be answered by the Auto Attendant, #206-7-NN-1, Day Only/Night Only/Always answer is #507-2/3/1, and Immediate Answer/Delayed Answer is #506-1/2
Now you need to get into the Voice Mail. Dial Intercom 777 and it will answer.
System Administrator's mailbox is 9997, and there is NO default password, it is set the first time someone logs into there. Hopefully, it has been reset or you were told what it is. Once in there, press 9 for programming, and enter the 2nd password.
Follow the prompts for the various options. 1 for system parameters, 2 for time/day, 3 for auto attendant, 4 for mailboxes. Creating mailboxes requires you to specify a "Class of Service" which will determine the mailbox size, the phone status, and outcalling permission. You will find a chart in the manual that you can download from the Avaya site.
Poke around in there, become familiar with how to set it up. Post specific questions, and I'm sure someone will answer you.
