Help with MS Access Primary Key - They Reset

Hi, I have this weird problem with a primary key in a table.. It happen twice already.. For some reason, the primary was reset to a lower number than highest key.. For example, the highest key is 2222, and some how, the key got reset and is trying to insert 2210 and would not allow the user to insert another record. I can't figure out why this would happen.. The database is being used by two users. Can someone shed some light on this?

ReInstall Access that is not normal. So it might be an internal problem with access
