Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.

It is thru localhost.

I have tried all permission setting, no luck! The MDB file is root, C:
Thanks

Just to ask the obvious, if you right click your C: drive do you have a security tab? If so have you set permissions for it, I would say not the best place to have the database in your root.

No, I do not have a security tab on C drive. Stange thing is it was working perfectly fine since this morning.

Currently, I am downloading the MDAC SP3 to see if that will resolve the problem.

Thanks...

Absolutely no change on the machine (i.e. moved it from another folder, installed an update, etc). The only thing I can think of is maybe a virus?
