Help with menu

I love the efficiency of this menu system and would like to try something similar:

I've never used xml, but that looks the menu to go with. I'll let you know how I make out.

Also...
I was able to build a menu in FlashMX that functions this way, however, making modifications or adding new menu categories will be more trouble than it's worth.

you can search flashkit.com. look for "Hierarchical menus".There you can download the sample fla. I have downloaded it myself.
