I'm currently working on something that has me stumped. I've got one part of a network I cannot touch. This part is the Novell part. The Novell server is used to track users, allow internet access, and allow them to login to any computer. The other part of the network is a win2k domain that I have full control over. What I would like to see happen is to have users login to the 2k domain, then have the name/pass sent to the Novell network so that the internet use can be tracked to that persons novell name. The usernames on the Novell server cannot be changed but any aspect of the 2k domain can. Also the Novell server handles DHCP, and thats another problem. I can obtain an ip and set it as static which should work or get the head admin to assign a special one. Basically what I am asking is if there is a way to allow users to login to the 2k domain and Novell in the same computer and how I should handle the DHCP issue. I also forgot to mention that a 2k DHCP server also needs to be setup some where in there. I've got 2 cisco routers, a 48 or so port hp procurve switchable hub, and a 24 port standard hub. Any length of cable and a pretty good knowledge of 2k server.
Thanks
