We have a system has a SQL Server 2000 back-end with an Access 2000 front-end. We would like to have a button on screen to email a report as an attachment that cannot be modified. We also have Outlook 2000. Do you have any suggestions as to how to go about this?

Thank you.

Have a look in BOL at the extended stored procedure xp_sendmail as this might be what you require.

Rick.

If you are building an Access report, xp_sendmail won't help. You can use DoCmd.SendObject in Access. You can also use Outlook objects in Access. I've created an "Access 2000 SendMessage Function" that you can download from Terry L. Broadbent
