Would any of you that knows that they in fact have ver 9.5 please take a look on the last page of the "disp capacity" command, and list here what your exact version listing shows. Mine lists version information exactly like this:
R009i.05.1.122.4

So is this 9 with a .05 patch applied or 9.5? with or without patches (QPPCNs)
Can anyone explain Avaya's numbering plan?
How can I tell if a QPPCN has been applied?
So many questions.....so little time!!
Thanks in advance.

You can also type in "newterm" and find out what release you are on.

Thanks people,

ken07734 &mikeydidit,
Tried your suggestions but the version is reported in the same format, leaving me not sure if it's 9.5 or 9.05

If you look at in in light of what it would be IF they had a subversion numbered.....say 12, then it would make sense the 9.05 means 9.5, because R009i.12.1.122.4 would be 9.12!
Right?

Definity,
Thanks, how Sure are you? Load 122.4 means what in english?
Do you know any source that relates load # with QPPCN's so I can tell if I need to call Avaya in to perform any QPPCN updates.

It's a 9.5 load 122.4. The load is simply a further identifier as to what version of 9.5 the PBX is. An early load may need several patches/bug fixes/QPPCN's. Let's say load .100. Avaya will then roll the needed bugfixes into a later load, let's say .122 as they continue to sell that version as a current rev. Not too different than owning Windows 2000 vs Windows 2000 SP3. It's the same software with not really any additional features, just all of the prior individual bug fixes rolled up under the newer load.
