Help with Commserver

I have 2 cisco 2501's and a 2504.

I was hoping to make the 2504 usefull in a lab scenario by useing the comm server to change an rs232 connection to ethernet.

I know I know by another router!! but the 2504 and comm server were free and buying another router will not help me learn about rs232.

Any ideas On how I might go about it.. I have the db60 to db 25 rs232 cisco cable I have succeded in getting the CTS RTS up how ever not much further then that.

Any help or suggestions?
