I have a 1720 on a p2p T-1. Our customer has recently purchased an Avaya IP Office phone system and needs to have the routers configured to prioritize voice traffic. Has anyone out there worked with cisco in conjunction with the IP Office? And if so how do you go about the programming? Any and all help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

From my understanding (replacing a bunch of them) the 1720 doesn't support enough memory to run QOS. If this is wrong hopefully a bump will get you a better answer.

I'm upgrading a 1720 to do qos via diffserv as I type this; you'll have to upgrade to at least ios 12.1T and upgrade your memory to 16MB Mini Flash and 48MB RAM, which from the pricing I've recieved will run you around $170 & $40 respectively. Hope this helps. If you need help configuring it email me at nate1870@hotmail_dot_com
