If I have and point to the same
IP address (same web site), and is the primary
domain.
Would you please tell me what the respective value of Server.Variables("server_name") is if I accessed the web site via and respectively?

Foe example, if I visited will I get "in the server_name variable?
and if I visited will I get "in the server_name variable?

I need urgent help, thank you any help!!!

Sorry, you won't get either. If you're lucky you'll get the name of the actual web server, but I've never seen it. More than likely, you'll get the host IP address which in your case may be the same for both sites, depending on how their setup.

There is not a method in ServerVariables to return the domain name or any portion of it. In JavaScript, you can use the location.href property and strip it down to get portions of the actual domain name.

Probably not the answer you were looking for. What's the issue you're dealing with ?? Maybe there's another solution..

ToddWW :)
