help regarding page access

does anybody know how to configure apache to access a page on the browser without having to type in a page extention for example:

http://www.corporatestreet.net/media

instead of

http://www.corporatestreet.net/media.php

This question comes up about once a week.

You want to use mod_rewrite.

This will allow you do rewrite the URL and change what it is accessing internally.
