HELP !!! problem with config.sys 2

In some DOS programs, it requiered a files more than default by windows (in config.sys files=120) but in windows Me I don't find the config.sys

windows ME wont have a config.sys file. your OK to create one though, quit to DOS and from the c:\ prompt type
EDIT CONFIG.SYS

this should load the v basic editor with a blank page, enter your files=120 command then exit and save ( alt+f+x)

Open MSCONFIG (Start|Run|msconfig). Go to the System.ini tab, then to the 386Enh section. Click on New and add the line PerMVFiles=XXX (XXX being the number of file handles you need upto 255) Click on Apply. The system will want to reboot and things should work. [sig][/sig]
