Help!! PLS!! Migrating from exchange 5.5 to 2000

Hey folks!

As always when I get stuck I know where I can get help.. right here.


After migrating from exchange 5.5 to a new Windows 2000 server and to Exchange 2000. We decommisioned the exchange 5.5 server and removed it from the domain.

Then we scrubbed the exch 5.5 server and put win2k server and exchange 2000 on it. Migrated back over all the mailboxes to the (old exchange 5.5 server) that now has 2k on it.

My question is, does anyone know of a faq or can tell me how to properly remove exchange 2000 from the domain? We currently are running with two exchange servers.
