Hi,

I'd like to know if it is possible to convert an incoming FGD call from 10/11 digit down to 4 digit internal DN and be routed to a particular DN

Please see scenario below:

1. A foreign trunk (FGD) dials 12013465555 going to my PBX
2. Digit Manipulation takes place allowing the call to get inside the system but removing the 1201346 part.
3. The translated 5555 incoming call is routed to a local DN 5555 and the call from foreign FGD trunk to a local DN is successful.

How do you do this? Can you give me the steps and the related overlays, features needed to accomplilsh this?

Best regards,

Pedro Penduko

I have never worked with a (FGB) before, but I have with 800 DNIS. Try using LD 49.

REQ chg[Return]
TYPE idc[Return]
CUST 0[Return]
DCNO 1[Return]
IDGT 12013465555[Return]

12013465555 5555[Return]
IDGT [Return]

I am not sure if your switch is seeing the full 12013465555 string.

Tried it, negative results....

Is there a way to see the digits received by Meridian, say some sort of debugging information.

Thanks....

my bet would be your not receiving the full thread from telco 12013465555. They may be sending you 5555 or 65555 or 555.I would ask your provider how many digits they are sending you now ? it should only be the length of your extentions.
or prt your ldn_data in LD 22

try doing as Jamie2 post and
REQ chg[Return]
TYPE idc[Return]
CUST 0[Return]
DCNO 1[Return]
IDGT 65555[Return]

65555 5555[Return] hopefully you have an ext 5555
IDGT [Return]
or
REQ chg[Return]
TYPE idc[Return]
CUST 0[Return]
DCNO 1[Return]
IDGT 555[Return]

555 5555[Return]
IDGT [Return]

if its a PRI turn on DCH MSGI and MSGO in LD 96

It's only dialtone-VZ

talked to the provider, they said they are sending me the 10 digit number 201xxxxxxx, our switch has received all the call information (Info digits, ANI, destination number) via MFR card.

Is there a way to verify the incoming digits from the Option 11?

Some says we can only do this via NARS.... if this is true, how do we do this on NARS, any sample configuration please...

thanks....

pri's ? if so look at the dch to insure the digits your getting.. i never program against what i'm told.. idc will work.. and so will auto yes with an atdn IF it's a trunk your trying to send.. if it's a route, then be sure the idc table is entered on the route the call comes in on.. where is it term now?
