Dear All,

I have installed Windows 2000 Professional on 20 terminals using the ghost process. Which means that all terminals are using the same Windows 2000 Pro OEM CD-key. The terminals are already working on the client environment. Is there any way or any tool that i can change the Windows CD-KEY???
In this moment i have in my hand 20 OEM cd keys and i want to place in every terminal the correct cd key....

Any help is appreciated,

Raoul

If you've got licences it doesn't really matter - nothing uses the key to identify anything. Only issue might arise if you didn't generate a new SID for each machine and its a workgroup.

The licenses are already purchased so there is no way to go to volume license.
From the other hand specific software, magical Jelly Bean, u are proposing just dont let me change the windows product key, the change key option is deactivated, and i can not select it, i am with admistrative account logged in, just for your info.

Any other solution???
It is quite urgent....

Thanks to all

Why is it urgent? As long as you have the licenses "in hand", then you are legal.

As Davetoo and wolluf have said no need to change it. After all MS created RIS. MS even say on there website that this is legal.[found it there once when I was looking into RIS]

So i had the course for the small-medium sized businesses licensing, the pc's must have the correct licenses on windows and the correct sticker on the cpu as soon as you have OEM licenses.

So in order to do this i have to change the cd keys.

Sure...by the books...but in real life, nobody cares, including MS. If you have the licenses that go with the machines, regardless of what key is on the machines...they won't care.
