help me find ie5.5

Hi
can anyone give me a link where i can download internet explorer 5.5 preferably w/sp2..i'm not ready to go to ie6.
i've been looking for 2 nights now and still can't find it..microsoft discontinued it? it's no longer available for download from microsoft...

See if you can find an earthlink package. They had 5.5 for a while. Ed Fair

the citynet link was a good one full download 74megs the other 2 where the starter 400kb or so...

no problem, the way those other links work is first you download the automatic installer, and then that program will automatically download internet explorer 5.5 from microsoft, either way works

that's what i was saying it's no longer available from microsoft.i can download the installer but i can't get it to complete once i select to install..
i searched microsoft and any other link the search engines suggested.. i figured it's not on ms site(no referance to ie5.5) they stopped supporting it.
