Ok, the boss is out of town and nobody can get their email. I look at the Exchange Server System Manager and the Mailbox Store is dismounted. Now, I am learning about Exchange and know some basics, but not a lot.

We are running Windows SBS 2003 with Exchange and my first question is, Is there a size limit for the mailbox store?

Here are the sizes of the following files.

priv1.edb 9gb
priv1.stm 7gb

Any information would be appreciated as I try to contact my boss who is out on vacation where cell phones don't work. ;-) Then I have to come up with a plan of action to get this resolved.

Yup, you have hit the default limit of 16GB. If you install Exchange SP2 it will automatically bump you up to 18GB which should be enough to get you over the hump. You can then edit the registry to allow up to 75GB once you have SP2 installed.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

Thanks for the help, I upgraded to SP2 last night and things are working alright.
