I created a database for a client and there are JPEG images in a bound object frame on a form in the database. When I scan the photos as JPEG's and insert them into records (on MY COMPUTER) they show up as images (like they should!) When I transfer the database to the client's computer, the images show up in the records just fine. However, on the client's end, if I try to insert a new JPEG into a record, I get TEXT that is the NAME of the JPEG file (ie: Hoover.jpg), NOT an image. I can't understand this! If I double click on the filename it brings up Windows Pictures and Fax viewer, which shows the image! But the image doesn't show up in the record (on Client's computer). Could they be missing some kind of import filter for JPEGS particular to ACCESS? Could they have something set somewhere so that JPEG's can only be viewd with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer? Anyone have a clue? I am totally stumped!!!!!!
