help iam looking to run netware 5 over dsl 1

i am able to map to the netware5 server through our firewall from our remote branch! but in the connections box it appears to say not authenticated. but below that we are connect to nds services this i have managed to do via connecting on port 524!
do i need to setup another port for the authentication to the netware5 server if so what port would that be, please help

It's normal to show one unauth and one auth connection. Does the mapping work?

Yeah, if your drive map works and you can access files, you're pretty much authenticated. You can also right click the RED N on your taskbar, hit Netware Connections, and see if you have an NDS authenticated connection.
