hi guys,
i hope someone can give me some advice here. I made a gpo and linked it to our domain and ended up locking me and everyone else out of active directory and all other admin tools. I can't get back in to remove the policy either....any way to fix this besides restoring active directory from backup?
I'm working remotely so i can't restart and take the dc offline from here.
thanks in advance!

well i ended up restoring from backup. the bad part was resetting the local admin password.
everything seems ok now, what a bonehead move that was

cant you go into a client that has the active directory Client tools and login localy, then edit the GPO from there? or load a default one in its place?

not always... ;-)
