:-(

I had one disk with 2 partitions, created by "partition magic".
The first partition is Win XP (NTFS) , the other is Win98 (fat32).
Due to some viruses, I re-installed the winXP again , by using a ghost image.
BUT, the problem is that the second partition is gone! I had important data on it.
Is there any way to restore the lost partition?

thanks!

can u see ur other drive with win98 in partition magic??if yes then select the drive right click and check undelete option.

no I can't.

apparently the lost partition was made *after* I made the ghost image, so that's the reason why my machine do not know the lost partition. Is there any way to recover it or the files inside? I ask it because I think that the files inside weren't deleted.

thanks in advance.

I tried both of them.

I think the problem is becuase that lost partition was made after I made the ghost image. I'm looking for a solution for that issue.

thanks !

If when you did the Restore you did Restore disk, where you should have done restore Partistion your info is no dout gone.
