I am trying to help a lady whose laptop (XP Pro SP2) is giving her a page fault stop message. I have got to the bit where the memory is the next possible culprit and have been guided on this forum to download a memory diagnostic utility - which means I have to create a bootable cd ( no floppy drive on laptop) and then work out how to put the utility image on to it. My attempt has not produced results.
I am anxious to be able to report back to the lady quickly, as she is going to Australia very soon for her sons wedding and wants to take her camera and laptop to record the event. If it is memory that is at fault she will need to get back to Dell, and I fear time is running out.....
I have Isobuster and Nero 6 something on my machine but can't remember what I did when I created a slipstream cd a while back
a getting worried Gracie
