hello,

I have installed the DNS function on our NT4.0 SP6 PDC server and cannot get it to function correctly.

I get the following event error:-

453
DNS server sendto() function failed: the data is in the error.

when i type nslookup it says :-

DNS request timed out. cant find server name for address 172.16.1.1.(this is the IP of the DNS/PDC server

Is it ok to have WINS and DNS on the same PDC?
any ideas
