Hello,

I have a yellow exclamation point in my device manager for my ES1869 Control Interface (WDM). It's properties indicate that this device is either not present, not installed properly or all the drivers are not installed. I tried updating the drivers but windows tells me I have the best driver for this device. I just upgraded to W98SE from W98FE. How do I get rid of that exclamation point?

Thanks

Dont use the Windows98SE (WDM) driver. Download the latest driver and install it. The yellow dot with an Exclamation point indicates that the correct drivers are not installed. (The drivers you have installed do not "match" what is required for the hardware). Reinstalling the latest drivers should take care of your problem.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks Butch,
It worked! I did exactly as you recommended and installed the manufacturer's drivers and it fixed my problem. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
