Hearing impaired

Customer has an 1408 digital phone, has a bit of a hearing issue and wants to be able to raise the volume on the handset louder then what already has been set to the loudest setting. Does anyone have any options out there that would be helpful..?

I had a similar issue and had to get the user a Captel 840 model. It is an Analog captioned telephone. You dont have to subscribe to Captel, we just use two analog lines for the phone. It also has a volume boost button on it that works VERY well.

(Specifically, with reference to the typical "normal" setting, users may increase the amplitude by up to 12 dB, or decrease it by up to 9 dB.)
