Hi,

I am running Microsoft Office Xp on Xp machines. I have several macros that I wrote several years ago. There all working fine until recently. My documents I save as .DOT and then my headers are not visible. They will print and I get them in the print preveiw. But my Macro will not run because its set to search the header section for particular fields. If anyone has this problem and found a solution please let me know.

My documents I save as .DOT

Could you elaborate on that? Dot files are singular, and are used to clone themselves into new documents.

If you are running code to action headers...it should run. Are you saying you do not have headers? No, because you state the headers print. So code running should action.

1. You need to give more details of exactly what you are doing.

2. You need to state if there are any error messages when you run your macros. They do....NOTHING? We do not know unless you tell us.

my Macro will not run because its set to search the header section for particular fields.

3. What in fact are these macros doing? Is it possible that they are doing something incorrectly? Were they written in an earlier version that does not quite match up to your current version? Could these fields not be there? Does it really not run at all? THAT seems odd, if correct.

4. This may, or may not be an general office question. If it involves macros and VBA, then post in the VBA forum.

But first give more details please.
