HD Drive letter assignments in Phonemail

does anyone know how to change the drive letter on a Siemens-IBM-Rolm Phonemail system from f or g to e or m?

I am facing problem in openscape business X8 v2. I upgraded from Hipath 3000 V9. the problem with PRi trunk DIUT2, does not synchronize with another hipath 3550 V9. in openscape bussiness X8 V2 I have licenses S2M qty 28. it shows reference clock when I define Hipath 3550 as master, however when I change any protocol in OSB it is synchronization shown by hipath 3550. it is also highlighted both system are connected back to back no media (Fiber/radio or any converter involved). one thing more at same situation when I replace the board OCCL with CBSAP as hipath 3800 every thing works fine. I also upgrade it release to osbiz_V2_R1.0.0_176. any tip?

I don't know if you're aware of this, but when you are connecting 2 systems together like that you have to designate one side as "master" and the other side as "slave". Do you know if you have that done? I belive you also have to use a crossover cable or adapter on one side if they are directly connected together.

What version of Phonemail....? I think it's a combination of dip switch settings and entering the ROM command state through the boot sequence..But I also believe that the drive letters are pre determined, E,F,G or H. Been a long time since I worked on a Phonemail, but that's what I seem to recall.
