Having Problem with RAMANI'S Grid Color Routine!!

Hey everyone...
First, I want to thank you Ramani for posting the FAQ on how to highlight the current selected row in a grid...

But, sometimes, I get an error saying:


Expression is invalid. Use a valid expression for DYNAMICFORECOLOR property


Then I have OK and Cancel... And then I have to click on OK
till everycolum is showing and then it works fine!!

It happens every once in a while!
PS: My grid is on a PageFrame that contains 2 pages!!!

What is causing this???

This error occurs when the expression you put in the DynamicBackColor property would generate an error. This can be caused by many things, and it all depends on the exact code you assign in the SETALL command.

If you post that code, we might be able to give you more specific advice.

Hi Tekno,
Have you used the latest codes. If not download and try. Please let me know if errors persist. The reason i am saying this is that at some point of time, I had updated thge code to do the same a little more efficiently and I dont remember what exact I did. Please check and let me know

I had the same error and my problem was that I'd forgotten to initialise the form level var inRecNo to zero. Duh.

This becomes a grid property in VGP 8.0
