Have a Name Field to strip 1

My Name example could be John Doe John D. Doe or J. Doe and I want to return Doe J. in A New Field

There have been several threads that handle this. Please use the keyword search. But I will say that having the full name in a field like this makes it sometimes difficult to perform queries. I would suggest when you split it, you put the name parts in separate fields... Terry M. Hoey
