Has anyone ever got a "hit" search using this site's search?!

Sorry, arguably off-topic, but I am a frequent (net!) contributor here so cut me a little; also, direct me to the "suggestions" or "help" forum if you know its name.

Here is the name of a current thread in this forum:
Find a time between two other times
(That is the newest entry I see as I write this).

If I type it into "keyword search" (atop this page), and set
Full site
Exact phrase
Subject lines
Forums
Any Date

I get 0 hits. In fact, I have never gotten a hit from this search tool. Now maybe it hasn't had time to index a brand new one (though that would be a shame if so); but even on old threads, I've simply never ever got hits, even when I type in verbatim words, whether aiming for subject lines or message contents. Any advice?

Um, hehe yeah, I know what you mean, I almost never find a result using "Exact Phrase". I thik it's because it's matching posts to ur exact key words, and that reduces ur chance of finding a result greatly. So what I usually do is using "All Phrase", and that usually returns anywhere from 10 - 100 results, so it doesn't take that long to look through them, and if you are lucky, some of the titles might be more meaningful so you know whether to look at it or not. I know it's not perfect, but at least u get some good results rather than get nothing

Now that you guys bring that. How do I search by thread number? Because many times one thread references another by the thread number but I've never been able to find by thread number.
