Hard drive on-line in Solaris 8

Hi All,

One of my co-workers asked me to post this question. How do you bring a hard drive that is currently off-line to on-line in Solaris 8?

If you need other information, please let me know as I'm not sure what to ask.

We have the partitions already laid out. Just can't get it on line.

Tim, how have you tried so far? Can you see it in format (I assume so if you have laid out the partitions)? Have you created new filesystems on the partitions using newfs? Is so, mount <filesystem> name should mount the filesystem so that you can use it. post back with any relevant info. relating to the above.
