Every once in a while, people have hanging sessions in my farm. I publish several applications and when the problem occurs, only one session if affected. It looks normal in CMC, but it doesn't respond to mouse or keyboard input anymore. When you click with the scrollwheel-button of the mouse, the session continues like nothing happened.
I'm running a farm of 4 Citrix XPe (sp3 fr3) servers with more than enough memory/cpu power to support the needs.
Does anyone have a clue on how to solve this or where to look?
Thanks in advance.

Does this happen at any time or in one particular package?

Cheers,
Carl.

Ogi,

Thanks for your reply.
This doesn't seem to happen at a specific application (mainly office, but that's like 90 percent of what's used) or time.

You could try the following registry hack, it's aimed at Published Applications rather than Published Desktops:-

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
System
CurrentControlSet
Control
Citrix
wfshell
TWI
SeamlessFlags DWORD 40 (64 in decimal)

Reboot the server and see if that helps any!

Cheers,
Carl.

Ogi,

Forgot to mention: I myself have the problem too and I use a published desktop only.
This registry key is truely for published apps only?
Tnx again

Hi,

The only time I see sessions hang like this is when someone goes into a disconnected state and the server seems to stall and then comes back to life, but a user will have been disconnected.

Yes, it is for Published Applications rather than desktops but is a global change!

Cheers,
Carl.

Ok, I will try and and see if it helps.
Will let you know.

Too bad, this fix didn't help.
Any other suggestions?
Tnx
