Handset installation M3905

Hello,

This is a fairly simplistic query however I can't find any documentation anywhere on the internet that tells me how to replace the heatset with a handset for use with the Nortel Networks M3905 (Meridian System)

I have been informed that in order to use the handset you need to re-configure at the switch, could anyone assist with installation instructions and/or scripting instructions.

on a 3905, for phase 1 or 2 phone you just plug the handset into the headset jack and remove the plate cover on the upper left corner of the 3905 base, doing this will allow you to cradle the handset on the base.

for phase 3 3905 with the either firmware 89 or 90 you should be able to just plug the handset into the handset jack on the back of the set. do the same with the plate cover to allow the handset to rest in the cradle

do not use the jack on the side of the set, its for supervirosy observation and training of the agent.
