Someone can hopefully point me in the right direction. I am upgrading shortly from my 2211 wireless phones to the newer style 6140 units. I have programmed a few by hand but would like to use the handset admin tool like I do with my 2211 phones. They appear to be the same, but I read that I need the appropriate version for my phones to get the USB cradle to be recognized by my PC (plugging it in now does nothing, not even detected). All the articles I read say to download it from Nortel but none of the links work and I can't find it on their site. Does anyone have a copy of this software that has the USB drivers for the 6140 charge cradle or know where I could download it? Let me know, thanks!

I logged into the Avaya site tonight at..

It's a pain, but I was able to download the following files. I don't know if any of them are what you are looking for?.

Nortel_config_cradle_2.11.07.zip
Nortel_97.072_pd11usd3.zip
WLAN Handset 2210, 2211 and 2212 Manufacture Discontinue Notification.pdf
Nortel97.072RelNotes.pdf

WMS_7_1_5_2_Win_install.exe (23xx range 128 Megs)

It's all that I could find.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

I think the Config_Cradle file is the one i'm looking for, I already have the PD11usd3 files. I don't have an Avaya "sold to numbers" because our maintenance is through Qwest though So I can't register to log into the Avaya site though...

yes, HAT (handset administration tool) is the one! How can I get a copy of that file?

I added you to my network, but it won't let me contact you for some reason. I apologize, I'm new to linkedin.com.

Got the file, worked great! Thanks for your help, you have saved me countless hours of manual programming. Thanks again!

Hi pbxNewb -- I too am having some difficulty tracking the HAT down for the NT/Avaya 6120 WLAN phone. If you still have the installer, could I get a copy from you?

Thanks!
