I come home one day fired up my machine, eveything was fine till after log on. On my desktop was a window saying RUN AS then in the windows it said to protect your machine from virus's ect log in as... And if I cancel I cannot run the program. I cannot run Outlook express. I ran Norton's after I updated it.. No virus's. Went to symantec they did not find anything. Nothing in proccess's. In task manager it says run as... Help?????

I don't fully understand your post, but see if these help you.

HOW TO: Prevent Users from Submitting Alternate Logon Credentials to Install a Program in the Windows .NET Server Family(Q325371)

294676 - HOW TO: Enable and Use the "Run As" Command When Running Programs in Windows

Also have a look at the "Run As" command in the Help and Support program under the topic heading of "To start a program as an administrator".

Thanks for not fully understanding you hit it right on the nose... Thanks Icon58

I still would be happier if your did at least Trend Micro and Panda from smah's faq760-3862

Trend and Normal will not let me run. Syamntec on linewill run but finds nothing. I have another HD ready to go with XP, but I wanted to find out how this was happening. I was stupid and did not lock things up the way I should of.
Thank you Icon58
