Hi,

I am currently studying VoIP in relation to Check Point, I am trying to visualise the setup. What I have so far:

IP Phones or soft phones connect to a gatekeeper, and old telephony phones to a gateway. How does these interconnect?

You define a network object to represent the phones the VoIP EndPoint Domain, then define a host that acts as the gatekeeper and then define a VoIP Domain referecing these. Add appropriate rules. Can you offer any further information, links, tips from implementation experience. Thanks

I am studying for VoIP as well but mainly cisco VoIP.

Gatekeeper, is that a product running on Cisco IOS?

May I make a suggestion? Why don't you use Cisco Call Manager
instead of Gatekeeper? Unless you prefer CCME (Cisco Call Manager Express) which also can run on Cisco IOS.
